The hotel has been used many years ago as the place of one of the reference movies of Romanian cinematography : "Nea Marin Miliardar". The stars of the golden ages have been here, the rooms of the hotel being used by great artists of old times: Jean Constantin, Amza Pellea, Sergiu Nicolaescu, Draga Olteanu-Matei, Sebastian Papaiani, and many others.

Harmony and intimacy were the principles which guided the renovation of the hotel with the help of architects and designers in vogue. So, the principles of Feng Shui harmony governs the hotel in a discreet way. Not kitschy elements, but the plan of the entire hotel: the colors inspired by the Feng Shui elements, the way the furniture and the internal decorations are arranged, the rounded lines and the way the light is captured and the location of the hotel as well ( all the rooms having a view to the sea) will give any guest a state of relaxation and peace.

So, the first three floors represent the Fire (the red color),the next two the Earth (the brown color), the 6th and the 7th floor the Water (the marine green color) and the last floor the Air (the white color)
